GOVERNOR Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has dissolved executives of 21 out of the 23 local government areas in the state and has sworn in caretaker committees for the councils.
He said that the tenure of the affected council executives expired on Saturday, adding that since elections were recently conducted in Ogba Egbema Ndoni and Degema Local Government Areas, they were not affected by the dissolution.
