You wont Believe What Happened To A Man Who kissed Publicly in Saudi Arabia" class="aligncenter" data-recalc-dims="1" src="http://ift.tt/1Mdkahg" style="width: 770px; height: auto;"/> </a> </span> </p><br /><div class='itemFullText'><br /><p>An Arab man who works in Saudi Arabia will spend the next six months in jail, after he was caught kissing a girl in his car.<br/><br />.<br/><br />But before he goes to jail though, he must receive 240 lashes of the cane for the audacity of kissing in public.<br/><br />.<br/><br />According to Emirate247, operatives of the Royal Kingdom’s Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, arrested the man after catching him kissing the girl inside his car on the seaside in the eastern port of Dammam.<br/><br />.<br/><br />Aside the punishment, the police also recommended the deportation of the man to avert his evil doings in the future, but the court did not order his deportation.</p><br /></div><br /></div>

<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><div readability='66'><br /><p><img alt="Screenshot (288)" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-275728" data-recalc-dims="1" src="http://ift.tt/1D9Jvlu"/>Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State on Monday stated that ninety per cent of the ongoing battle to reclaim seized territories under the control of Boko Haram is being carried out by the Nigerian Armed Forces and not by troops of neighbouring countries as “wrongly” perceived by the media.</p><br /><p>Shettima insisted that soldiers of Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republics cannot claim undue credits for the current successes being recorded over Boko Haram because the Nigerian troops are playing larger role in the battlefront.</p><br /><p>“We appreciate their efforts and support for the government of Nigeria, but it should be known that the bulk of the job of cleansing our society of these Boko Haram lunatics is being done by officers and men of the Nigerian armed forces who are ably supported by the Nigeria Air force”, Shettima said.</p><br /><p>“I don’t want to dwell so much on the inner workings of the ongoing counter insurgency operations which I have access to; but by and large we appreciate the efforts of the Chadian, of the Cameroonian and Nigerien troops; but I can say that 90 percent of the job is being done by our people – our own soldiers”.</p><br /><p>The governor, who made this remark when the new Commander of the 79 Composite Group, Nigeria Air Force, Maiduguri, Air Comodore Christopher Eyi Egbuoba, paid him a courtesy visit at Government House Maiduguri, noted that all what the troops of the three neighbouring African countries had been able to do was not more than 10 per cent of the job needed to be done.</p><br /><p>“Some of them especially the Cameroonian had assisted us by sealing off the borders”, he said.</p><br /></div><br /></div>

<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><div style='text-align: left' dir='ltr'><br /><table style='margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center' class='tr-caption-container' cellspacing='0' cellpadding='0' align='center'><br /><tbody><br /><tr><br /><td style='text-align: center'><a href="http://ift.tt/1A68K9m" style="margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto"><img border="0" data-recalc-dims="1" src="http://ift.tt/1A68K9o"/> </a> </td><br /></tr><br /><tr><br /><td style='text-align: center' class='tr-caption'> </td><br /></tr><br /></tbody><br /></table><br /><p>The police have arraigned a 27-year-old man, Tope Akintade, for impregnating a primary three pupil, Beatrice (pseudonym), after he allegedly raped her.</p><br /><p>Akintade and Beatrice, an orphan, are neighbours at a compound on Baale Street, Agboju, Kuje in the Amuwo area of Lagos State.<br/><br /><a id="more" name="more"> </a> </p><br /><p><a href="http://ift.tt/1DL6TKa">PUNCH Metro</a> learnt that the 13-year-old victim was outside washing plates in the afternoon, sometime in November, when Akintade, who hails from the Idanre Local Government Area, Ondo State, lured her to his room and forcefully had sex with her.</p><br /><p>Our correspondent gathered that Beatrice’s aunt, who preferred to be anonymous because of the nature of the incident, had earlier warned the suspect to stay away from her niece when she (the minor) complained that he was “playing rough play” with her.</p><br /><p>Our correspondent learnt that neither the aunt nor other lodgers of the compound were around on the fateful day to intervene in the act as Akintade reportedly coerced the minor into three rounds of sexual romp.</p><br /><p>It was gathered that the act, which the minor had kept secret, became apparent when she began to exhibit some symptoms usually shown by pregnant women.</p><br /><p>She was said to have been taken to a hospital where a test conducted on her revealed that she was three months pregnant.</p><br /><p>Akintade was eventually arrested by police officials attached to the Satellite Police Division and charged with rape.</p><br /><p>PUNCH Metro was told that he had confessed to the crime in a statement made to the police. A prosecutor, Olusoji Ojaokomo, arraigned him before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on two counts of rape.</p><br /><p>The charge read, “That you, Tope Akintade, 27, on Baale Street, Agboju, Satellite Town, Kunje, Amuwo, Lagos, in the Apapa Magisterial District, did defile one Beatrice by having canal knowledge of her and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.</p><br /><p>“That you, Tope Akintade, did indecently assault Beatrice by touching her private parts and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 134 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.”</p><br /><p>The accused, however, pleaded not guilty before the magistrate, Mrs. O.I. Adelaja, who admitted him to bail in the sum of N50,000, with two sureties in like sum.</p><br /><p>“The sureties must tender to the court evidence of tax payment and their residential addresses for verification,” she added.</p><br /><p>She adjourned the case till March 23, 2015 for mention.</p><br /></div><br /></div>
