<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><p><span class='itemImage'><a class="" data-rel="prettyPhoto" href="/media/k2/items/cache/93179c25d67a0a98b46172bc54f688a4_XL.jpg" title="Click to preview image"><img alt="Oshiomhole" data-recalc-dims="1" src="http://ift.tt/1Cji7n7" style="width:770px; height:auto;"/> </a> </span> </p><br /><div class='itemFullText'><br /><p><strong>A chieftain of the Edo chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Pastor Osagie Ize- Iyamu, has urged Edo citizens to forgive him for helping Governor Adams Oshiomhole to win the Edo governorship election in 2007 under the Action Congress of Nigeria umbrella.</strong> </p><br /><p>This comes as former executive director of community development Faustine Ovienroba defected to the PDP just 24 hours after he was fired by the governor.</p><br /><p>He had revealed his reason for the defection, citing non-construction of the road leading to his community as well as the failure to tackle the erosion menace in the area, as promised by the state government when he earlier left the PDP for the APC, as reasons for returning to the PDP.</p><br /><p>Pastor Ize-Iyamu, however, said that his apology was necessary because the governor had turned truth upside town.</p><br /><p style='padding-left: 30px;'>He said: <em>“Edo people should forgive me for being one of those in the forefront that brought Mr. Oshiomhole to be the governor of the state. We now know who he is. Therefore, in the coming elections, Edo people should not repeat the mistake of the past.</em> </p><br /><p style='padding-left: 30px;'><em>“When I remember how we brought in Oshiomhole to contest the 2007 governorship election, I weep because we brought in a bad thing.”</em> </p><br /><p> </p><br /><p>Edo PDP chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, while receiving Ovienroba and his supporters, accused the current governor of misappropriation of funds, spending the sum of N11.6 million to “buy drinks” for Gen Muhammadu Buhari, and wondered how Buhari, who is a Muslim, could be bought alcohol.</p><br /></div><br /></div>

They are mysterious and extraordinarily rare — and almost never seen by humans.</div><br /><div style='clear: both;' class='separator'> </div><br /><div style='clear: both;' class='separator'>But on the morning of the 28th of January, last week Wednesday, a 15-foot adult male megamouth washed up on the shores of Barangay Marigondon in the Philippines. And according to reports, the shark was dead when fishermen discovered it. It had been trapped in one of the fishermen’s nets. After contacting local authorities, it was confirmed to be the ever elusive megamouth shark, Megachasma pelagios.</div><br /><div style='clear: both;' class='separator'> </div><br /><div style='clear: both;' class='separator'>With only 64 previous sightings of this type of shark ever recorded, its discovery was thrilling.
