The Resident Commissioner for the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kano, Mikaila Abdulahi, has died. Mr. Mikaila, oversaw last Saturday’s presidential and national assembly election in the state. He died early hours of this morning at his residence in a strange fire incident with his wife and two kids. Details of the incident are still very sketchy, but the police have also confirmed the death of the entire family.
