There is so much to do before having a baby.
And amid all the excitement, it seems this couple forgot one crucial task: to tell the cat.
Pictures have emerged online showing the moment they brought the new arrival home – and Roxy the tabby is beside herself.
Standing on her hind legs to peer into the crib, she looks up – wide-eyed and open-mouthed – at the camera in shock.
The photo, posted on Reddit on Wednesday by the couple who wish to remain anonymous, was captioned: ‘We forgot to tell our cat we had a baby.’
It amassed hundreds of comments within hours.
But for those that felt sorry for Roxy, the couple responded the next day with another picture showing the cat and baby are now getting along fine.
