Nigeria’s Yakubu Aiyegbeni proved once more why he is a force on the pitch anytime, regardless his age and speed.







The 32 year-old who returned to English football, joining Reading as a free agent this month scored Reading’s second against Derby County in the FA Cup fifth round on Valentine ’s Day, February 14.



Reading led led early into the second half of the game with a goal from Welsh international, 25 year-old Hal Robson-Kanu, a former Arsenal youth player.











Former Charlton Athletic striker, Darren Bent pulled one back for hosts, Derby at the 61 minute mark, scoring his ninth FA Cup goal in ten appearances.







The game continued that way until the last ten minutes of the game, Aiyegbeni running into a pass, struck from in between two defenders, sealing a comfortable 2-1 win for the visitors who now advance into the quarter finals of the FA Cup







The Nigerian scores his first goal for the championship side and sends them through thre last 8 for the third time in the club's history.
