Troops of the Nigerian military are currently hunting some Boko Haram fighters between Hong and Michika in Adamawa State, in an attempt to flush out the insurgents.

It was learnt on Thursday that some youths, who are mostly from Michika, had hid in the community to attack soldiers in the communities around Michika.

The troops have subsequently shut down the Hong-Michika road in order to flush out the remnants of the terrorists, who had remained behind in the communities after soldiers and local hunters dislodged them after their month-long occupation of a few local governments areas in Adamawa State.
