No military helicopter crashed in Yola – DHQ

The Nigerian military has denied the reports that an Air Force helicopter yesterday crashed in Yola, Adamawa State.

Reports say the helicopter crash occurred moments after lift off in the Damare neighbourhood of the Federal University of Technology in Yola.

But the Defence Headquarters in a tweet from its handle said, “There was NO crash involving any Helicopter or Airplane of the Nigerian Air Force today

(Friday) as reported on Social Media”.

It would be recalled that on November 10, a helicopter on surveillance mission crashed in a suburb of Girel Local Government Area of Adamawa State, while on November 14, another chopper crashed in Jarenga village near Yola.
