The governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan, and the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ayo Oritsejafor, have both said Nigeria will not break up in 2015.
Uduaghan and Oritsejafor said this while speaking during the opening of the 2014 Jubilee World Festival of Word of Life Bible Church.
“No matter the external influence, Nigeria will not break up in 2015.
There are predictions that Nigeria will break up in 2015 but Nigeria cannot break up in 2015 but next year is going to be a challenging year. In 2015, a lot is going to happen but, we shall overcome,” Uduaghan said.
“We have decided in Nigeria that we shall be one, all the parties in Nigeria have agreed that Nigeria will not break up,” he added.
The President of CAN also spoke in a similar direction.
He said those wishing for Nigeria to break up will not have their desires fulfilled as the country will remain one after 2015.
