Maisy Vignes, aged 4
According to the London telegraph Maisy was born without blood in her body as her haemoglobin level was a flat Zero. Her mother absorbed all her blood during pregnancy and when she was given birth to doctors never really felt she would survive.
Fastforward four years after and Maisy is sitting in class impressing her teachers in various subjects at school. Her mother called Maisy’s recovery a miracle because medics are yet to explain how Maisy was able to survive and live a normal life.
What is most suprising is the fact that Maisy hasn’t been showing any signs of brain damage after having her brain starved of oxygen in her mother’s womb.
