A man of France, filed a complaint after being kicked off a plane because he smelled bad.

Now, an investigation is underway to see if American Airlines could be guilty of discrimination.

The airline denies the charge. The incident began when the 27-year-old man from Paris, was thrown off the air plane at the Charles-de-Gaulle airport.

The man was asked to leave the flight that was heading to Dallas, Texas, before take-off after several passengers complained about his body odour.

The passenger tried to go to the bathroom before take-off, but was asked by a flight attendant to leave the plane because of the smell.

The man was also told to take a shower. The cabin crew called police to forcibly remove the traveller, but officials refused, saying that he was not a safety hazard.

The passenger said that the incident had completely changed his view of the United States, a country that he had dreamed to visit his entire life.
