The government of Ivory Coast has banned all flights from countries hit by the deadly Ebola virus, yesterday, August 11, 2014. The government said in a statement that it has banned all carriers from transporting passengers from the four affected countries in Africa.
The authorities has also suspended flights by its national airline to and from these locations. No further statements has yet been released from the Ivory Coast authorities.
