The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has said that its plan to increase train fares would help beef up security on the railway.
A statement by the Assistant Director (Public Relations) of the corporation, Mr David Ndakotsu said benefits of the proposed increase in train fares would include enhanced security, reduction in congestion, air-conditioned cabins, more reliable and frequent services.
