Young talented Nollywood superstar actress who rose to fame in “I Need To Know”, a TV series that highlighted the effect of HIV/AIDS amongst young people, Funke Akindele, popularly known as Jenifa or Suliya Kan Ayetoro Kan, has revealed on why she has not been entertaining interviews and reacting to issues pertaining to her career of late, saying that it was a deliberate decision and her management made to stay out of media glare for the time being.
“I am working on new projects now and I don’t want to be in the media for the wrong reasons or for the fun of it. When I am done with the projects, I will talk about them and probably hold a press conference to clear the air on some issues,” the movie producer and law graduate from the University of Lagos, who recently had a messy separation from her husband, Kehinde Oloyede after one year, revealed in a brief chat with Nigerian Tribune .
