26 PDP Lawmakers Of Kano Assembly Defect To APC

The Kano State House of Assembly on Monday witnessed the defection of 26 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The House has 31 members and with the defection of the 26 lawmakers to the APC, the PDP has now been relegated to the minority as it is left with only five members in the Assembly.

The Speaker of the House Alhaji Gambo Sallau and three other members were absent during the 26 lawmakers declaration of allegiance for the APC.

With this development, the APC is now in majority and control of the Assembly.
